>The Chalice Gong

May 2003:

we are
working together to raise funds toward the design
and casting of a Chalice Gong to be installed at the heart
centre of the Starhenge Peace Bell Garden at
Gaunts house
in Dorset.

We are currently raising funds, through concerts and events
to commission a master instrument maker
to create the Gong,
most likely to be made from Bronze.

The Richard Glyn foundation have kindly offered to match any
funds raised towards our target figure of £5,000
.

We welcome contributions - be it help with the garden,
fundraising, artistry, donations.

Our warmest gratitude is extended to all those who have contributed with the evolution of Starhenge and have given toward the Chalice Gong.

The Inspiration

“On the day of world peace we will be called to gather to give
thanks for life and breath, and together, listen to all the bells
and gongs ring around the globe.” New Genesis, Dr. Robert Muller 1984

The Mandate

At the historic signing of 1987 INF Treaty, Presidents Gorbachev and

Reagan agreed to dismantle nuclear weapons re-initiiating the ancient
tradition of recycling armaments, casting them into bells and gongs
to announce ‘the arrival of lasting peace.’

The First Day of Global Peace and World Community

Let us work together and “plant a seedtone of peace” for the next
1000 years
